Penang trip with kids

Have to grap this offer from Jetstar. S$28 one way to Penang. So off we go..... Taking the old and the young ones..... Ryan has been a darling during this trip and guest who's the complaining one..... My grandma loh hahaha..... I have the trip all planned and she started to reject all my plans to garden, fruit farm....etc etc. Anyway not her fault. She can't walk too long on her already weaken leg muscle. Although we didn't go alot of places as plan, we do enjoy the trip with all the company... Grandma, mum, hubby and the kids. Muak Muak....

First experience to share. Never travel with the old and the young without check in luggage allowance. hahahah poor daddy have to help with all our luggage cause i did not buy the check in  luggage allowance and there's no way to travel light with kids in toll......
Ready to Depart - At changi Airport

Ryan fall asleep right after takeoff
I've make the room reservation via agoda for Holiday Inn and contacted the hotel for transfer service from airport to hotel. The reason to choose this hotel after much research is due to the kids friendly review & is just at the doorstep of the night market. There is also a playroom for children to play in the lobby area.

Our connecting room

After check in, it is almost dinner time. We have BBQ dinner buffet in the hotel.....great atmosphere and reasonable price. Grandma and my mum enjoy senior price for the buffet......not too bad being old after all.....It's about S$20+ per person for the buffet. Free balloons for the kids too.

In between, the tour guide brought us to a batik factory where they show us how batik is made. The tour is free as we didn't buy anything from the factory heheheh.

The guide on our request brought us to a shop that sell all famous penang goodies. We bought the penang bat kut teh soup bag and some local delicacies there.

At night we walk along the night market beside our hotel call the Batu Ferringhi night market. Just like pasar malam in Singapore.

Day 2 - Toy Museum

As Grandma and my mum are not interested to visit this museum, they waited for us inside the car.
This museum also a must see for kids. There are millions of toys in there i guess and some of it are life size.
