Finally the long wait for the kids run had arrived. We are so excited forthis event. Luckily we are all blessed with nice weather this morning- superduper hot. Thanks to Uncle Paul for sending us to the kids run event at
On the other hand, Ryan's excitement at the beginning fades away cause ofthe super hot weather. He begins to feel very lethargic. I suspect he had aheat stroke. His forehead feels so hot. He refuses to get down on his feet so Ihave to carry him from the starting point. Half way through the race althoughhe isn't feeling well, he still pull himself up on his feet and run for about200m before asking me to carry him up again. ''Good job Ryan.'' Carrying a 12kgRyan in hand, I took a slow jog into the finishing line and feel that I trulyhad a workout this morning.....
A gold medal was presented to all the kids that participate and completesthe race. It is super rewarding for the kids. We will definitely join in therun again next year. Hip Hip Hurray.
Time to go back and take care of the sick Ryan though.......
